[Suggestion] Further course organisation by sub-levels

Hi everyone!

I’m currently making a relatively large course, and it would be great to have some further organisation to the course levels.

So, currently we just have something very linear like the following:

1 - Human Body
2 - Skeleton
3 - Muscles
4 - Organs

It makes it difficult to group similar, but different categories.

It would be great if we could make sub-levels, in the app they could be representation as moons of the planets, such as:

1 - Human Body
└1A - Skeleton
└1B - Muscles
└1C - Organs

Thoughts anyone? :slight_smile:

thanks :slight_smile: I just used a screenshot of the Memrise app and did some photoshop magic :wink:

I can never convince the app to work on my (very rubbish) phone, but the moons thing is clearly a good idea. I’m always one for better organisation! (and maybe one day I’ll have a phone that doesn’t die upon seeing the memrise app…)

Also, excellent photoshop work @Fenxy – that’s dedication to an idea, right there!

I think the “moons” idea would be an exciting twist to the app as it doesnt have many features.

Me Too! And also the biggest problem will be if the Memrise team actually likes this idea :cold_sweat:

Don’t see why they wouldn’t, really… I mean, it’s logical to break things up to make them feel more accessible, that completing a section is an attainable goal, which will be easier if categories can be divided up a bit if they get too big (but still coming under one main, sensible heading… Like having a language with a Common Materials section, then subheaded by Metals, Fabrics, etc…). On the other hand, memrise might think it’s an unnecessary over-complication that could put people off using the app, I guess. There’s always two sides to everything.
