I started learning arabic some weeks ago and I really like the app. However I have the strong feeling, that the app gives you the feeling that you know a word even tho you don’t. If you just have to choose the correct answer out of 4 or 6 and you can exclude 2 or 3 answers right at the beginning, because there are for example way too short or too long, then it becomes more of a guessing game that rewards you for roughly knowing the word. I’ve experienced, that I could answer all the questions correctly, but when I tried to remember them without the options to choose from I couldn’t think of a single one. I think it would be really important to give the users a way to remember the words on the next level. For example that you have to type the answer. Or how the title suggests: Just add Cue Cards. They don’t have to be included in the point system, but just give us the opportunity to try to remember words without having given options to choose from.
