@conqueror_uk Of course you can, you could learn Japanese without learning any Kanji what so ever if you wanted.
There are plenty of Japanese vocab courses without Kanji for you to learn from.
For me, I tried to get a good amount of vocab down before any Kanji (500 - 1000 words), as Kanji just seemed difficult to learn to be honest.

Once you have done them, start with the JLPT’s, starting with the lowest level 5:
Just use the ignore function to ignore the Kanji levels.

And if you do eventually want to learn Kanji, I would first learn the English meaning of each Kanji first, as it makes it easier to remember them when using them in words. None of that probably makes sense, as when ever I saw people talking about Kanji and the fact that they have meanings, and are also used together to make words confused me like mad.
