Stuck at "Loading learning session..."

I’m currently on German 4, Level 3 and I’m stuck at “Loading learning session…” Any idea why?

Things that I’ve tried:

  1. Go to “Course details” and manually start from where I’m at, didn’t work.
  2. Log out and in again, didn’t work.
  3. Refreshing the page, didn’t work.
  4. Disabling uBlock Origin and Privacy Badger, didn’t work.
  5. Clearing the cache, didn’t work.

Unfortunately no, it still doesn’t work. I tried to clear the cache from Inspect → Application → Clear storage but to no avail. I also tried to start German 5 and yet it somehow stuck at that exact page.

I have this same problem when I try to do the “German Winter Vocabulary” course online. It works fine on the app.

Hi Joshua, sorry for prodding, but is this going to have a fix soon? I want to do my daily goal of 50 words and this hinders me completely from continuing. :worried:

Hi. I had the same error in chrome ver. 55 and chrome canary ver. 57. This problem was fixed, but the javascript file is cashed in your browser.
You can click this button and reload the page once while chrome devTools is open. It worked for me.

We’ve released a fix so you wouldn’t need to clear your cache every time.

It’s not working. I’ve tried every browser I have on my computer. I don’t like app, I like memrising on big normal screen, but every four or five days this - stuck at loading learning session - come out. What to do with it?

Could you please explain to us your issue in more depth?

  • Which browser are you using? Google Chrome? Firefox? Internet Explorer? Safari? etc…
  • Have you tried in incognito mode?
  • Could you also attach a screenshot of your issue and also include the browser console.

I used Chome, Microsoft edge, Opera.
Yes. I’ve tried incognito. No difference.

Might be an antivirus which is blocking one of our scripts.

Could you confirm whether or not you have an antivirus running on your computer?
