My girlfriend spent a lot of time on a flight yesterday doing memrise (within the same timezone) for Swedish 1,2,3,4 and today opened the app and all 4 streaks had vanished!
She had a 78 day streak on Swedish 3, and 12 days or so on the others. Of course this is not a huge deal, but having a 78 day streak was a huge motivator for her, and losing it incorrectly is pretty crappy. Any way this can be fixed? Here is a screenshot from her account which shows what she had been doing
The overall learning streak, showed in your screenshot, is different than the streak for individual courses and the streak badge.
The streak in the learning history is based on GMT. The streak for individual courses and the streak badge is based on whichever time zone you have in your settings.
I realize that this response doesn’t solve the problem of your girlfriend losing her streaks. Could it be that she didn’t reconnect to the internet until after midnight, so that the app counted the work she did as occurring the next day? I don’t use the app, so I’m not an expert in how it handles this kind of situation.
Badge streaks are course specific. You’ll get a new badge after 5 days starting from 30 (I think). Shouldn’t there be “75” badge? Maybe something went wrong 3 days ago?
If you contact someone from memrise they can reinstate your streak. If you search this forum you should also find a link which takes you to that application where you can ask your streak back
