Streak number displays 2 different numbers in IOS app

Does this happen only on certain courses, levels, items, learning modes or devices? I am learning German, and sometimes the 2 streak numbers match, but frequent they are one day off. I am in a different timezone EST instead of CET, but did not see a method to change the timezone in the app. Is the timezone difference the problem?

I did find it now, on the website, but am concerned that I might lose my streak if I change it now.

Hi there, there may be some discrepancies between your Streak in the app and the website, due to the way the system works on different platforms. We hope to have these fixed soon, however I can’t currently share any timeframe.

To try and solve this, please always make sure that your timezone on the app and the website are the same. To avoid losing your Streak, make sure you complete your Daily Goal for the current day before changing your time zone.

Hi Alessio,
An update for this issue.
Both iPhone & laptop are in the same time zone (now back in Germany). Settings for both devices are Europe/Berlin CTE.
Whilst the website time settings can be verified in my profile in the browser, the iPhone app profile does not have a setting for time zone. So, the iPhone app appears to be dependent upon the phone settings…

Since the time zone change, the iPhone is still displaying 2 numbers:

  1. Longest Streak number (agrees with number listed on website and in Profile on iPhone.
  2. Daily progress circle displays one less; i.e., 213/214.

At some point later, during the day, the numbers appear to synch, with all 3 displaying the same number. I may be able to monitor this in order to give you a time window…
