Is there a way to turn off the default wordlist? I mean, I don’t care about other users’ nor their words they use in their course. It’s hard to tell which words are mine.
Wordlist meaning, if I start to add a verb. It asks if you want to add that same word with other users audio for the word.
I hate it and it makes it hard to edit my course because of it.
You’re talking about when adding words to a course’s database or levels, right?
If so, you should be able to leave the “Use wiki?” option blank when creating the database. This way, it should only search for the items within that database.
This only works when you’re first creating the database though, so if you’re already deep into working on one that uses the wiki, there’s unfortunately no way to change it, as far as I know.
Strange, I haven’t noticed a change in behavior when I change the column titles. I checked it again just now, by changing every header in one of my databases to “Test1”, “Test2”, etc, and I still seemed to be getting just as many search results from the wiki as before.
Is there an extra step involved? I always figured that the columns simply matched up to the wiki by location, rather than the column title.
