START NEXT COURSE recreate a new course without my advancement in the same course

Hi,

When I click on on “START NEXT COURSE” from Russian 1 or Russian 2, a new Russian 2 and Russian 3 is created eventhough I already finished Russian 2 and in the middle of Russian 3.
Also, the new version of Russian 2/Russian 3 has 1-4 words more than my current course.

Thanks,

Eyal.

Hi, the courses are constantly being updated. Words are being added, removed or changed.

Hi,

Sure, but I would’ve expected that my instance of the course would update as well with the new material instead of the new version being considered as a completely different course…

Ah, I understand.

You have been studying Russian for both English and English (US), these are two separate languages.

Here are the course link of the courses you are currently studying.

Russian 1: http://www.memrise.com/course/1123052/russian-1/
Russian 2 (US): http://www.memrise.com/course/1180538/russian-2/

The Russian 1 you are studying is for English speakers, while the Russian 2 and 3 are for English (US).

Here is the list for both English and English (US).

Oh, well the Russian 1 course did change drastically a few days ago -
got 2 new levels and this cool voyage missions all of a sudden…

It’s either that or you fixed an older bug as I used the “START NEXT COURSE” button to start Russian 2 and 3 a while ago.
Thanks for the quick replay!

last question - does both courses support those voyage missions? I don’t want to redo the Russian 2 from nothing but I really like the concept behind the missions.
