The “red” (pink) edge lines moving up and acting as a timer… They’re too faded. I almost don’t notice them.
I have to move my focus away from the word selection to properly see how much time I have left. The lines should be a much stronger red color.
I agree with you. its very fast.
It’s not that it’s fast, it’s supposed to be, but the red (pink) border moving up, which acts as the timer, is too hard to see without focusing on it.
It was easier before when it was red instead of pink like it is now. 
Have you tried dark mode? ‘Timer’ is OK there.
