1 I never get to review not even the standard 100 … after 96, 97 it stops and tells me as usual to learn more words (i want to review 1000s of items in all sorts of courses that i’ve finished long time ago). I never understood what is the point of such msg
2 the audio icon is visible, giving one the impression audio would (eventually) play. However, no audio ever plays
I don’t use speed review really, but if I recall, audio never worked. So, I don’t think it’s an error: it not playing.
not really: the audio icon is a recent addition to speed review… i think somebody tried to make audio available in speed review. There are some other open ends, botched improvements, such as… in my “early buddhism” course and in some other one, the images i’ve added appear in the upper right corner of the screen if the answer is right… i did not see the same happening in my courses with lots of images (“city” spanish, etc)
Lol, maybe one person started to add the audio, then forgot to finish it. typical memrise staff.
Is there any way for a language / group review (e.g Portuguese BR) to only review FINISHED courses? e.g PT Basic, PT1-5?
As I know the group / language review by that filter, it lists ALL courses in that category so a review probably will just review all (including unfinished, running) courses where I just use the web “all typing” review, to water my backlog.
I would not like to mix any of those, but as you said it, speed review might be nice to get the backlog down from time to time for completed/finished courses.
I vote for speed review:
100 shall be a user setting before the session, which you can easily raise to 250, 500 or 1000.
