@lien apcando is my latest fake follower
Thanks! Theyâve all been deactivated.
we should find the source of those guys
when i was a forum moderator, i discovered that all porn spammers came from russia,
so i just completely blocked russia !
Thatâs right. Russia is prevalent in terms of number spam bots. But I doubt your solution will bear fruitâŚ
Best solution I can think of is adding a Captcha. While this wonât nullify bots from appearing, it does decrease their numbers by a large margin.
i used the url or something like that
problem is that russian users canât log in anymore
that was not a problem for the forum i moderated, because we were local
I agree with you, but I find it too strange that these spams are occuring just now, maybe someone is trying to annoy some users? or maybe someone is trying to get revenge on memrise? maybe we need to call Conan to solve this mystery, or maybe itâs simply my imaginationâŚaffaire Ă suivre
i think itâs typical behaviour of somebody who thinks heâs going to make money, maybe by trying to get your creditcard numberor something like that
the porn industry treats everybody as a moron, and if they try long enough, the finally get a victim
one bank account they empty, might be worth it for them
it doesnât necessarily mean they get a lot of money
I have picked up some new ones here:

is it causing that much of a problem? There are so so so so so many bugs they need to fix.
as @mila83 wrote
BlockquoteEven if they are spamming memrise, they are advertising bad websites, that anyone (even children) could openâŚand to think that I recently sent a link of a multiplication course to my nephewsâŚ
