Now they’re using mems. This legit made me laugh when I saw it.

Alright memrise, if they’re doing this, they’re gonna find a way to get their adverts in on this website almost regardless of what you do. So please give us the bio’s feature back, and just use other methods of curbing their advertising capabilities. Maybe one such suggestion could be requiring that you need to follow them to see anything, and have a message appear for first time following someone to not follow advertisement links and to report such accounts. Also have an actual report button available on other people’s user page for this purpose. And just disable the feature for those who give a false report.

Thank you for swift action - 2 accounts now gone and the third seems to have deleted its mem (which I took a screenshot of in case you needed proof of its being there in the first place).

Edit: all gone now!

Surely there muat be something that can be done to prevent these spambot accounts from becoming a recurring problem.

Also the option to remove following users would be good because I can unfollow them but I can’t stop them from unfollowing me?
