On iOS 12.1.2 iPhone X from December’18 there is still the same bug. Onscreen space bar is too low in review mode with typing session. Only when answer string is long. This appears on any course, if the word is long. Plus the full keyboard when opened covers the answer field. I’ve submitted two times this via form from iOS app but no one bothers.

Use the phone’s keyboard then (right the mainboard button next to the counter)…

This is the same issue that I reported here.
Edit: This is fixed for me in v2.3.58 (released Jan 15). For some reason the update wasn’t showing up in the Updates tab of the App Store for my new phone. But it appeared for my old phone (which is running iOS10 and not 12 so it’s the older App Store), and when I went to Memrise’s own App Store page of my new phone it had the Update button, and I could update it.
Yes! Not automated update but after click on update button. all before mentioned bugs are fixed. Great!
