Something is wrong with the grid data in Memrise Pro

Hi. I’ve been checking my Memrise pro grid graph, and it repeatedly informs me that I haven’t had ANY learning experiences on a particular day, if I do my learning in the morning.

I thought it might be my time zone being wrong, but I’ve checked, and it’s set on Sydney, Australia, which is where I am. My streaks are working just fine in individual courses, some of them are up to 60 days, but the grid thinks my best streak, my current streak, in fact, is 35 days, because some of the streaks are completed in the morning.

Today I’m going to be going somewhere late at night, so I’m getting all my learning streak courses over early. But sadly, my grid will show that I didn’t do ANY learning today, as it is being done in the morning. I will have my grid streak go down to nil, even though I’ve done my learning.

Is there something I can do to make it stop assigning all these learning experiences to yesterday? Is the time zone not controlling my Memrise Pro membership additions? Does it have a different preferences box somewhere?

How can I fix this?

The grid has never been reliable for me. It shows entire weeks missing when I know I did memrise during those weeks.

Did you also do them in the morning? Are you in a non-standard time zone like me?

I’m beginning to think it is a time zone problem. I’m home now, late Friday night, and it seems almost all my “learning events” were attributed to Thursday instead of Friday for some reason, because I did most of them before 10am. 10 is when the International Date Line rolls around, so I’m guessing that’s the reason. How annoying!

The pro streak goes by UCT/GMT.

You’re kidding! Wow.

Every time I think I’ve found something for which I’m glad I bought Pro, I find out it’s useless. Audio reviews? Nope, they don’t check or teach comprehension. Difficult words? On the App, it tests too easily, on the computer, not enough, and either could be done by just writing out the words a few times with pen and paper. And now, the statistics they’re showing me aren’t even on my side of the date line.

Oh well, at least I still get the warm and fuzzy feeling that I’m being supportive, I guess.

…And it’s nice I’m not expected to run a full day behind, like the Americans do.

Sigh.
