Some "no typing" courses require typing anyway

I have created three courses that I have set to “no typing required” (as they contain mostly vocabulary that doesn’t need to be in active memory). One of the three works as designed, but the other two still prompt typing tests in my Android app - but not on the web page.

This is the working one:

And these the ones that won’t cooperate:

The settings seem to be identical, with both language columns in the database view having the “typing tests enabled” checkbox unchecked. All three teach the same language in the same direction.

Is this a bug or have I overlooked something?

Seeing as though there is one functioning one, it could be a bug. Buuuuuut Im no computer wizard, so I wouldnt know. Although, now I think about it, perhaps there is something you overlooked. Make some more, and see if theres a problem with it. This probably isnt helpful enough, but hey, I tried my best!!!

I still don’t know what causes this behaviour, but I seem to have found a workaround: If this happens, you need to log out from Memrise in your app. Simply deleting a downloaded course won’t do, you have to log out completely. Once you log in again, the course will work as intended.
