恐怕 and 恐 both have the exact same clue “to fear” but are not accepted as interchangeable answers. It’s not possible to tell which answer is desired.

Actually, there is the same issue with 美 and 丽 both being “beautiful*”
More words that have the same definition:
Both with the definition “to do”: 弄 and 作
Both with “spoon*”: 勺 and 匙
"to press": 按 and 压
forest*: 森 and 林
Both “to exchange”: 交 and 调
Both “already”: 已 and 既
Both “warm”: 温 and 暖

Some more corrections: These definitions should have a * to indicate they are referring to a single character
