And 1195 personas have studied the course. sad, really sad!
A discussion about flagging is going on in another topic.
This I think is a good post to flag. I flagged your post and wrote this:
Please delete this course. Please also have a look at this entire discussion. The user Extremedream is probably cheating and is already over 200 million points. Some others also are gaining points very quickly. Also there is a concern over the security of your site; are our emails and payment information safe on a site that is apparently so easy to hack into?
Thanks for the input @Arete_Hime ~ I was on a long bus ride today and I was thinking about this thread, and was going to suggest that maybe (before it gets flagged) it might be re-titled to something else, since it seems to have gone in a few directions now. Itâs no longer limited to a particular user, or even a particular event (cheating). Is that a good or bad idea ?
We learn by doing and getting feedback I think. This doesnât seem like a bad idea, so Iâd just do it and worry about the consequences later, or not at all.
Wow. Flagging posts because they enquire about safety of payments is a brillant idea (sarcasm off).
(one can ask oneself why so few memrise users visit these fora?)
As I said, we learn by doing and then getting feedback. Here is my feedback for you: here your (English) reading comprehension failed you. Also, as it was @pdao who suggested the topic title change for this topic, you should have given him time to make that change. He can of course still change it now if he doesnât like it.
@Hydroptere ~ Iâm not quite sure what you meant, but at least for me, security is a primary concern with Memrise (and other sites).
absolutely, @arete_hime, youâre always right (sarcasm off again). Maybe less âad hominemâ pseudo-arguments would not hurt.
If you want to argue (off-topic) please do so properly. I am not using ad-hominems and I am not using pseudo-arguments.
Iâm sure you feel that Iâm always right, but that is not so.
@Arete_Hime ~ thanks for the title change to the thread. I think it is more reflective of the content, and perhaps more enticing for Memrise staff to want to read if/when it is flagged. (I hope others in the forum donât take exception with title changes, but if they do, I hope they voice their opinions).
And I am very sorry if anything I may have written caused the exchange between you and @Hydroptere. Such was not my intent.
I didnât change it
No it didnât. Thatâs a kind of an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object kind of thing. I will reply in the same manner every time someone writes in a particular kind of way. @Hydroptere often writes like that and as a result gets that kind of reaction repeatedly (that is neutral, not negative, by the way), and then mistakenly feels I feel negatively about her.
Maybe @marciojmendes changed the title ? He was the originator.
Enough of this for me. I think it is time to move on to other things.

Increasing the total without points in the week and the month.
We need a general topic where we report all the cheaters.
Thanks, Iâve deleted it.
