The app has the native speaker saying the word sometimes while I’m trying to learn. I am deaf. I can’t even understand what they are saying. Please add the option to disable them.
You can turn off all audio-related functions in the settings.

That is what I did. Unfortunately, it doesn’t turn that off.
You can switch off the audio tests. But @holden_gray is probably talking about the preview. Memrise will not have considered that this feature is useless for deaf people.
