I am having trouble with the Android App. Every answer consisting of a single character (Chinese/Latin/number, doesn’t matter) is taken as incorrect no matter what I do. This has been going on for months and I thought the new update would help it but the bug is still there.
Which course(s)? What version of memrise? Device model? Android version?
All courses, ever (e.g.“Physik für’s Abi”, “Sauseschritt 3A - Vokabeln (Kana)”, “Most frequently used Slovak words”, all others)
Every version since one year at least, always update on the release day. atm it’s 2.9_3827_memrise
device is Sony Xperia M model C1905

More info: This only happens with Auto Detect disabled. Auto Detect has no problem with single character answers, but submitting single character answers manually with the enter arrow will always mark as incorrect, even if you gave the correct answer.
Edit: A temporary workaround for this is to press the space bar after typing the single character. With the space it’ll be two characters, so the bug won’t occur… and Memrise strips spaces when evaluating answers so you’ll still get it correct.
