Show/Hide feature does not behave as expected

Tested on the following browsers:
Chrome for Mac
Firefox for Mac
Safari for Mac

Use case 1: working

  1. Click show button
    : Level opens as expected
  2. Click hide button
    : Level closes as expected

Use case 2: broken

  1. Click show button to Level 1
    : Level 1 opens as expected

  2. Click show button to Level 2
    : Level 2 opens as expected

  3. Click hide button for Level 1
    : Level 1 does not hide

  4. Click hide button for Level 1 AGAIN
    : Level 1 hides

The same thing happens for Windows 10 Chrome.

So then it seems this is not cross browser related.

Presumably, this is a bug in the animation scripts.

This is been broken as you describe for as long as I can remember, which is probably since I first started making courses, in 2014 I think.

@Joshua, sorry to bug you (pun intended). But if you have time, could you give us a little insight on this? Is the Memrise team aware of this bug?

I understand it’s pretty low priority, which is fine, but it would be a comfort to know if this has made it into your backlog. :sunflower:
