Same translation different answers

As you can see in German 3 lesson for Turkishs ;
“waiter” mean “der Kellner”
“waitress” mean “die Kellnerin”
But in turkish they translate as a “garson” so i can’t choose the correct answers because of this situations. Please make it fix

I don’t know any Turkish and don’t intend to learn it, however garson seems to come from French where definitely means “boy” i.e. is a masculine

Could you please post a link to the course that this issue is on?

Okay. If it is a masculine then the correct translate will be “der kellner” . But in German there is a feminine version of “garson” “die kellnerin”. It has to be two different types of this translate for Turkish users.

Here you go :slight_smile:

Thanks.

I think that this issue should be able to be fixed by the course creator, so you’ll need to post the issue in the course forum, which appears to be here for this course :slight_smile:

It’s the same with some of the French courses that I am studying as well.
But, it is down to the course creator to fix these, I usually end up choosing to ignore a few of the words so I don’t get questions with the same possible answers.
