Hi, I can’t pass the first contact lesson on my app. After we toast, there is no possible way to answer his question in such a way that the game would continue. Is it a system issue or am I doing something wrong? I read there was some issues with this lesson in other languages as well… (Japanese & Spanish) I have the newest version, just downloaded again to see if it would help.
There might be a bug with Russian 1 First contact.
Could you please provide us a screenshot of the problematic question?
I’m not too familiar with Russian.
How about declining to his question. Maybe, answer with some sort of excuse?

Then it says why are you out drinking with me if you’re tired, and then it’s game over.

The mission can be a little tricky, but that’s what makes it fun.
Great job on getting past it. 
I am having problems around First Contact as well… it keeps saying “no levels found to learn”. (see first picture)
So it means I am stuck at 91/237 in Russian 1. I can’t proceed and learn more words. I can keep reviewing those 91 words and keep practicing them, but can’t more ahead.
There’s possibly a related issues…
I have passed all the chat mission. All of them are now marked yellow except “A little about you”. And that one I have cleared multiple times, but it just seems to not register as done. Look at pictures 2 & 3, you can see I have finished “A little about you”. As it is thinly veiled customer survey anyway, I doubt there is way to fail it. In any case, I have gone through it multiple times, giving different answers, but always same result.
Look at last picture. All other chats are passed and marked yellow. “A little about you” remains blue. Maybe this is related maybe not?
I am a paying customer, so it can’t be a paywall either. But if this can’t be fixed then why in hell should I keep paying?
