Please reconsider your decision in the latest update to dim the still image of the locals and put a replay button on top of their nose.
The charm of “Learn with Locals” is the illusion of personal interaction. The dimming + button (which is on most of the time while answering)
create distance and feels kind of “dead” (exaggerating a little here).
Before, I had no problem to figure out for myself how to repeat by tapping on the still image - and people know videos from Facebook, WhatsApp etc. !

I second the request. The dimming has always bothered me quite a bit and while I understand that there needs to be an obvious means of replaying the video, it doesn’t really seem suitable to place it right on top of the video.
