Request to become a contributor to "Duolingo Greek with Audio"

I would like to become a contributor to the course Duolingo Greek with Audio.

Questions about the course are directed to this thread in the course description, where myself and others have in the past pointed out little errors that should be fixed. However, the course creator seems to no longer be active on the forum and their memrise account appears to have been deleted. As per the procedure, I have asked in that thread to be made a contributor so that I may fix the errors (and add some missing words) last week and not received any reply, so now I am asking here.

I have made several memrise courses myself so I feel like I can do a good job at maintaining the “Duolingo Greek with Audio” course.

Thank you for considering my request.

Hi, thanks for your request and apologies for the delay!

You’ve been added as a contributor to this course.

Best wishes,
Memrise team.

I would also like to be a contributor to this course

Hi, I can add you, but would you mind telling me first for what purpose you want to be contributor?

I am Greek and I noticed there aren’t many Greek courses

So for what purpose do you want to be a contributor? What changes do you have in mind?
Have you started/contributed to other memrise courses?

yes, I am working on an abandoned french course
I did not look at this particular course, I am just interested in increasing the Greek angle as much as possible.

I also worked as a translator for years

My approach was to leave the course as it is for now, but to occassionally check the thread if someone reports something that should be changed. And one day hopefully to upgrade it to the new tree on Duolingo (I have ideas on how to go about that in a way so that people keep most of their progress of the old tree).
We could collaborate on that, but that would require you to go through Duolingo along with me (but I’m currently doing German first).

For the moment, would it work for you to just report specific changes you wish to see in this thread? And if it turns out you come up with many changes, I can make you a contributor then.

I am focusing on French now. I will get back to you
