I’ve just been hit with an annual subscription I was not expecting and do not want, I am under 30 days.
When I go to this and use the link all I get is a blank page. I have also tried to email cancel@memrise but the email is returned unsent.
[ Memrise Pro has a 30-day money back guarantee. If you cancel within 30 days from subscribing to Memrise Pro, you can request a refund by visiting memrise.com/premium/refunds on web - please make sure you are logged in with the correct Memrise username. ]
I have been reading numerous forum posts of people getting the runaround & this is typical of a company trying to duck their refund commitments.

Please assist.
I tried the link, and the link actually works; not sure why not for @AdzAlee. I was logged in at the moment, though.
It was more than 30 days ago that I purchased, so I’m not eligible. I think the 30-day thing is only for the first subscription, not with every renewal.
You wrote ‘cancel@memrise’ without the ‘.com’. I hope you didn’t accidentally forgot to type the dot com.
I have seen them my times responding to requests in the forum, and the fact that the users rarely (if ever) posts for a second time suggests they the issue was being handled. It’s weekend now, so hopefully you hear something in 2-3 days (that’s what I usually see).
Thanks for responding, appreciated.
Yes, I did have the full email address with the .com
I get a blank, no way of creating a refund request.
Yes, I’m signed in.
Refunds are only available within the first 30 days of a purchase or renewal:
Membership status: Memrise Pro since Sept. 28, 2017
Your Pro subscription has been cancelled. Your access to Pro expires on 2019-09-28
Assuming I do see the refund turn up in my bank account.
I private messaged one of the support team & got a resolution within half a day.
I did get a refund into my bank. I still think they are making it difficult so you give up trying.
Well that is a common business tactic. I recommend people to hit cancel once they begin their subscription in order to prevent it from auto renewing. Don’t worry, it doesn’t actually cancel the subscription, you’ll still have pro.
Agreed, & it’s not that I don’t value or like Memrise, it’s a great app. But I had no warning of the charge & it was bad timing, when I went to cancel /refund I ended up in a loop to nowhere. All’s well that ends well I suppose
