Refund for pro account subscription

Last night I downloaded the app onto my new phone and noticed the advert encouraging me to sign up for the Pro subscription. The Pro sub sounded very very good and looked like just what I need so I decided to try it for a month.

However, after paying for the month I found that the language I am learning (Ukrainian) is NOT available for Pro.

Nowhere on the advertising was it stated which languages were offered and I paid for the Pro account in good faith, believing that my language was available. If the languages offered for Pro were stated on the advert prior to paying then I would NOT have subscribed.

Thus I believe I am well within my rights to claim the refund on my expenditure.

Also, on my Account profile it states “Memrise Pro since July 1, 2016”.

I’m baffled by this as:

  1. I had no knowledge that I was already a Pro since then
  2. If I were already a Pro then why did you allow me to go ahead and pay for a second Pro account?

Please advise on all the issues above.

Sorry, I didn’t see your message. But all has been successfully sorted out now, is that right?

I am just a regular memrise user, by the way, I just earned some special posting rights through my contributions on the forum.

I have joined memrise and bought the annual subscription a year ago but I stopped using this website from more than 5-6 months ago and that is why I forgot about the automatic payment. 2 days ago I have received a mail saying that 30$ has been taken from my Paypal account. It is only a few days (less than 30 days) after the renewal and payment. I would like to ask for a full refund of the subscription. But as I have already canceled my subscription plan I can not claim a refund on the link that is given It did not help

What should I do now?

We checked your profile and can confirm that your subscription has already been refunded. The amount will appear in your account within 5-10 days.
