Good morning everyone, I have a question about какой… так in a sentence.

  1. Вы не такой добрый как ваш брат.

  2. Мой брат очень добрый человек, а сестра не такая добрая как брат.

So I get it why такая добрая in 2nd sentence because its stating the sister so it matches gender as feminine but in 1 st sentence why we dont use такие добрые i thiught вы is plular form so we were supposed to match I asked a teacher the was she explained was in 1st sentence they are talking about брат. Im still confused please help!!

In the first sentence “Вы” is a polite form for “you”. Brother is “he” so you should use “такой”.

In the first sentence “Вы” is singular (polite form of addressing a person), that’s why “такой” not “такие”.
