Purchase not working

I wanted to buy a PRO membership with some discount through the iOS app, but if i click on it I got an error message:

Purchase failed. Please try again.
Unknown product identifier.

Same here. Would like to take advantage of the cyber week Annual Pro membership offer, but getting the same bug in iOS and the same offer is not available in website or Android apps. :-/

Hi All - We are aware of a bug that affects a number of iOS users in the recent Cyber Week campaign, and our developers are currently rolling out a fix for this. We’re running the Cyber Week campaign until 29th Nov, so you should have time to upgrade to Memrise Pro (at the discounted price) if you choose to do so :slight_smile:

@zootweller This bug only affects a number of iOS users, but if you own an Android device, you can access the offer on there.

Just log in with your username and password (on Android) and if purchased, Memrise Pro will be applied to your account. You can then sign in to any other device (iOS included) and use Memrise Pro.

If you are not seeing the offer on Android, please update the app to the latest version.

What is going on with this app? Not only is the purchase not working, but the app completely stopped working on my phone.

Why am I unable to access the pro discount from my computer ?

I have the same problem here with purchasing pro with the cyber price. Had deleted and reinstalled app twice and tried logging in and out. Seems this bug can only be solved by waiting for mods. Please do, will be waiting along with others affected.

I saw a new app update today but the purchase is still not working.

iTunes seems to think the purchase succeeded…?

I was able to purchase the Pro version last night and have received confirmation emails from Apple showing the purchase. Unfortunately Memrise doesn’t show that I have purchased the Pro version. Any advice? I have checked both the digital version and web version and neither show my purchase.

  • In the App, tap on the ‘Pro’ tab
  • Scroll to the bottom of that page
  • Click ‘Restore Purchase’

I still cannot activate the Cyber week special offer. I’m using an IPad. Is there any other way to get the benefit of your offer?
