Pronunciation session ask me to pronounce always the same words!

Hi!

I’m a pro user of Memrise and at the moment I’m taking the English (UK) course for Italian speakers.

I have already reported this issue in the Language Quarters > English (British) forum area, but maybe this issue could be considered as a bug, so here I am.

First of all, here some data in order to fulfil your bug reporting policy criteria:

  • Username: pippoufle61
  • App version: 2.94_6478_memrise
  • Platform: Android 8.1.0
  • Device model: Nokia 8
  • Phone or tablet firmware: 00WW_4_88B_SP03
  • Date of first occurrence: I cannot remember
  • Frequency of occurrence: every time I do a Pronunciation session

So, hereinafter the description of the issue. Every time I do a Pronunciation session, the Memrise app shows me always the same words or phrases! Things like “many”, “much”, “a kiosk” and so on. Even if I do not make mistakes in pronouncing the words, the next Pronunciation session I have to pronounce again and again “many”, “much” and “a kiosk”. I became an expert in pronounce these words by now. It’s very frustrating. In the other course sessions (“Learn new words”, “Classic review”, etc.) I’m learning new words, it would be useful the Pronunciation session let me practice with the new words.

I’m having the same issue with the Norwegian course.

It only gives me the same 3 words every time.

I’m using a Samsung S8

I use the old version of the app for review until they fix this bug and bug with streak.

Did they ever sort a fix for you on this? Deleting and reinstalling seems to temporarily fix it, but I can’t be bothered to do that every week
