I just proceeded from the course Arabic 1 to arabic 2. The app went immediately to level 11 instead of starting at level 1 on Arabic 2,is this a bug or an intended feature?
Probably you had made some progress previously on Arabic 2 beforehand.
For example, you could have started level 11 and answered a word either correctly or incorrectly then went back to Arabic 1.
After you completed Arabic 1 and clicked “Start Next Course” to start Arabic 2, you are redirected to level 11, because progress in the course has already been made in that level. When starting a course, you are either redirected to the first level or to a level which already has progress, to allow you to continue your progress. In this case, it might had been level 11.

I hardly doubt I entered arabic 2 before, I have only used memrise for two weeks and arabic 2 was not listed in the list of courses I’m enrolled in (left three bar menu under “home”) until I pressed “proceed to arabic 2”. Nevertheless, now I have to manually press arabic 2, level 1, learn new words etc until I reach level 11 since just using the app as usual takes me to level 11.
