Problems with the Japanese Memrise Course Chatbot and Grammarbot

Hello,
I’ve been doing Memrise for a few days now and have found 2 errors with both the Chatbot and Grammarbot (See image for an example.)

  1. The Chatbot and Grammarbot are trying to teach me things that I’m nowhere near in the main course yet, but think I’ve already done (as shown in the image.)

  2. The Chatbot has an option below “Resume Chat” which isn’t in English, even though my interface language is set as it.

Many courses, including the Memrise Japanese course have a dedicated topic, called a ‘Course Forum’, which is monitored by a specialist:
[Course Forum] Japanese 1-7 by Memrise.

Thank you for reporting these! I’m sorry for the confusing these chats are causing.

The Chatbot and Grammarbot are trying to teach me things that I’m nowhere near in the main course yet, but think I’ve already done (as shown in the image.)

It seems that the chat was appearing at the wrong timing, and I’ve updated the locations just now. It should reappear for you when you have learnt the content.

The Chatbot has an option below “Resume Chat” which isn’t in English, even though my interface language is set as it.

Regarding your second point, we are having trouble reproducing this problem. Could you tell me the details of
-what browser you use
-which course you are on (Japanese 1? 2?)
-which language have you selected as your mother tongue? (UK English or US)
-had you selected Spanish before you got this?

Thanks @KanaTsumoto for (hopefully) fixing the first problem, as for the seccond:

  1. Edge
  2. Japanese 1
  3. UK English
  4. No

I hope this helps.

EDIT: I’ve had the option in English since then so it might have been fixed already.
