Hello,
I just recently added the new Japanese 1 course and I’m having a hard time doing the Kanji items on that course due to the current input system I’m using, which is through this website: https://www.branah.com/japanese. It seems that it doesn’t show the correct Kanji characters for the given items; for example, kanpai! is 乾杯!but have some missing Kanji characters in that website.
So instead of trying to burn my bows off finding the correct Kanji characters by translating Romaji to Kanji is there a keyboard input/app/website where I could just type in Hiragana and auto-deciphers it to Kanji?
I tried installing the Google IME tool but it gives me errors when installing, that’s why I’ve been using that website in the first place. I was thinking that it might be caused by incompatibilities with Windows XP. And oh, I’m using Chrome as my browse, if anyone’s wondering.
Well personally I use the Windows IME, which I’m satisfied with, since it always has the words I’m looking for. Though some need more scrolling than others.
I use Windows 10 so the installation will differ. But here’s the site I got the instructions from: (It has an XP option):

If all works well, be sure to check a tutorial on how to use it.

Finally! I can now continue on studying Japanese with more ease! I’ve been finding a decent blog where they teach you how to type with Japanese but all the searches I’ve found, until now, requires to download the google IME tool which always give me errors. This is the only site I’ve seen with a very extensive yet simple and user-friendly guides in using and tweaking the Windows IME tool even-though this PC’s OS is all in Korean (native English speaker here) because the OS is Korean edition. とてもありがとうございます!
