Hi I just started with Japanese with my daughter (for over a week). She wanted to try out other languages, but when it comes to the spelling rectangle, we aren’t offered the letters needed. We see just vowels usually with odd diacritic marks over them. We could try just skipping the spellings, but it is assumed we don’t know whsat we are doing and it takes longer. Why are we not getting the letters. Japanese continues to work fine. /////Okay. here is my own reply. I used my keyboard! Why, of course! the confusing thing is being shown the options of other letters. I suppose those are as needed. Problem solved!

Glad to hear your problem is resolved! Yes, the tiles you see are just for the letters/accents you won’t have on your regular keyboard
