I want to try the pro version for one month with 5,80 euro but when i open the dialog to confirm the payment method i see ‘‘not eligible’’ message from my google account, but I have 25 euro in my account!!
I just purchase something other without a problem! Can someone help me?

Unfortunately Google Play balance and vouchers are only valid for one-off payments. As the Pro subscription is set as a recurring transaction by default, it can’t be paid for using these methods.
If you got the Play balance for Memrise specifically, it may be worth reaching out to the PlayStore to request a refund!

I have buy now the one month subscription with my paypal account!
I use my Google Play balance for other apps, not problem at all!!
But i think is a good idea to solve this purchase problem, maybe this keep
people away to purchase the pro version if they don’t want to use paypall
or credit card and they have balance in Google acount.

After days i have finally found an answer to my problem
I specifically bought Google play balance to buy a membership during the new year.
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to do so.
I am going to try to get in touch with Google to hopefully get a refund.
However, if i then pay with my PayPal account how can i still get the offer that I saw during the new year?
