Pro subscription disappeared

A year ago I subscribed to Memrise Pro with PayPal. This January I was charged for the subscription again. I didn’t need it, but I decided to let it be because it’s a good website and they deserve to be paid. But I went to PayPal and removed Memrise from the list of authorized payments, to be sure I won’t be charged again in 2018. It didn’t affect the fact that I was charged for 2017 subscription $59.

After a week Memrise emailed me that they had problems with my payment method and can’t charge me (why would they need it again if they already did?) I didn’t notice this email because it got filtered by my mail system.

Today I logged in and noticed I don’t have Pro anymore!

I think I don’t need it after all, but I really need a refund for $59

I’m just a member, and I cannot see your account or anything. But I am guessing that your change triggered an automatic cancellation and the refund will appear automatically.

I hope you are right… But I think they should have clarified this for me. Their email says nothing about refund, it says only “If you decide to not update the information within 7 days from receiving this e-mail, we will suspend the subscription”. I also wrote to support 3 days ago and still waiting for response…
