Hi, I’m doing a french course. The new words are introduced too slowly for my liking. I am now finding the course tedious. I have tried ignoring words but this feature doesn’t work - they still appear. Is there any way to speed up the process and get rid of words once and for all?

For instance, the french course I am doing has about 1100 words. I have now only reviewed about 100 words but it has taken many days. I need some settings to control the speed of the course and also the ability to kill words once and for all so they no longer appear anywhere.
“Killing” words so that they do not appear anywhere - that’s exactly what ignoring them should do. And it works for me.
I see. But in my case they still appear in the speed test.
I agree. I think the default pace is way too slow. I have designed a course that aims to teach 20 words a day where the day’s words make up a single level, and I am now advising my students to ignore Memrise’s recommendations for review, and go straight to a new level every day.

On the mobile app the animations are a way too slow as well. I subscribed to Pro to try the Quick review but it’s not enabled yet.
But anyway, it’s boring to wait for animations, plus we have too many times the same words to review. It was OK at the beginning but now I find it boring.
Is it possible to add another Speed Setting to be able to skip animations and review each words less times please ?
