Sentence: esta não é a minha filha
Current Translation: that isn’t my daughter
Proposed Translation: this isn’t my daughter

Sentence: esta é a minha mãe e o meu pai
Translation: this is my mom and my dad
Question: do you really say “esta é a minha mãe e o meu pai”? Or should it be either “esta é a minha mãe e ESTE E’ o meu pai” or “Estes sao o meu pai e a minha mae”?

Hi Matteo,
the sentence “esta é a minha mãe e o meu pai” is weird. The alternatives you gave are much more accurate. But any Brazilian would understand any of the sentences in the same way, specially in the spoken language.
