Since I deleted it last week and uploaded my original story, I thought all was well (some byproduct of your Memnote issue earlier in the month). However, on my Memrise livestream today, one of my viewers reported that the pornagraphic mem was showing up. I could not see it on my screen, so I asked him for a screen shot which shows myself as the creator 12 months ago. As the Memnote is deleted on my end, I cannot even edit it to change the address to something safe.
Please remove this entirely, and if possible correct what ever bug allowed another user to edit my own MemNote with a pornagraphic image.
Edit by Joshua: NSFW Image has been removed from thread.
Clearly NSFW, so I’m not sure it is required to provide the link to the screenshot. Maybe consider removing it?
The few people who’ve already clicked it, including me, can certify it is indeed pornographic.
On a side note, I’m not going to forget this Hanzi anymore, this is a textbook example of a Mem that sticks in the head
@Joshua - The mem should immediately be removed from ALL user access, including those who have already selected it, because it has been created in such a way that it is falsely attributed to another user, and that user has drawn that to your attention. This adds a different legal issue from how you would deal with offensive mems in general. Run this by your legal department - you don’t want to intentionally host material whose purpose is to defame another user.
@Nukemarine I’ve had a check and there might be a way to remove the mem from everyone who’ve already selected it.
Do you happen to know the username of the person who reported this to you? If so, I’ll be able to access the mem if they still have it as chosen.
If not, I don’t believe there’s a method for me to retrieve the mem since it’s already been deleted on your account and there are no known users who have chosen it.
