Hi! I’ve noticed lately that the Memrise staff is contributing language courses such as Norwegian, Spanish, German, etc, dividing them in 7 lessons, I believe, with real human voice pronunciations. I was wondering if it were possible, or maybe ye are thinking about it, to create an Irish course? I’d be so happy as well as those who are learning the language.

They have not made any mention of making any Irish courses but it would definitely be cool. Personally I am really hoping to see official Icelandic courses.

Another vote of support for this. It would be really helpful. There is a dearth of good Irish resources on Memrise.
True. I’ve started several of them in fact, but the way Memrise deals their course is quite helpful, given that they use phrase examples and have audios to help with the pronunciation. I look forward for them to create a Memrise Irish course. Thanks for your support
A lot of people seem interesting in learning Irish as well. It’s one of the top courses for english speakers on Duolingo. While that’s different from memrise, a lot of people would probably be interested in learning it on here too.
I’ve looked online in the past, though admittedly not recent past, and I would say there is a dearth of good Irish resources in general. At least outside of Ireland. There were some tempting holiday language learning getaways and summer programs though.
Oh yes. I have a hard time finding anything.

If you get made a contributor you can add audio to the courses yourself. You can get the audio for a lot of Irish words on Forvo.
I study Irish on Duolingo and Icelandic on Memrise (because neither app offers the other language). I would love to be able to see videos of people speaking Irish. Please add an official Irish Memrise course!
