Hello, I have a suggestion to add awards and give the permanent award for ranking leaders. It should propably be given to people that are first or maybe even second and third in courses that have 1000+ users.

It should be independent of number of users. And have a name associated with the actual class. Also if you are no 1 10 times you are an Emeritus.
These are really simple steps to ‘gamify’ Memrise more and get it back on track.

IchigoSmof I am new to Memrise, so I don’t know what was before, but I guess that if you have a comparission, then your idea is propably better.
khx333 I was thinking about a situation when someone is creating his own course with 2 questions, that noone would join and the owner would recive an award for this. That’s why there should be some restrictions, so the award would actually mean something.
And yeach, anything that is gamifying Memrise more, should be considered by staff I guess.
Hi if this is per course and someone makes a one-two word course and gets a badge for that course, that’s fine, as it’s only reflected in this course and if nobody else is using it, there’s no big deal. It’s similar to making a two-word course and always being the leader per week/month/total…
