This graph (words in long term memory and words forgotten) isn’t appearing for me. I’m not sure how much stuff still isn’t working after the problems of the past few days, and this is a relatively minor issue. It is one of the best motivators for me though so hope y’all can fix it whenever you have the chance.
I came here to report the same problem. Where did it go?
I am waiting for the performance monitor graph to reappear since the system came down. I hope it will come back soon, because it is one of the biggest motivational factors for me.
Hi - Unfortunately The Performance Monitor was recently removed from the Memrise platform. This was done to make way for new and exciting features on Memrise!
You’ll still be able to access the remainder of the statistics shown here: http://feedback.memrise.com/knowledgebase/articles/524849-pro-features-in-the-website
Apologies for any inconvenience,
Memrise.
What new features? I have a pro subscription and have no new features at all. And like SpencerMitchell-Schw said the graph was fun to watch and a great motivator. I really consider this a big loss of functionality.
It would be nice if we were informed of such changes so we would not have to waste time trying to figure out what is wrong. It seems this would be a pretty trivial thing for Memrise to do.
I will also miss the graph. Nice feature. I find the “room” argument a little confusing. Room where?
Really found this a big motivator. Shame! Not even a notification to tell us it had gone. Will await new features but not sure what extra I am getting at the moment as a pro member that really feels worthwhile.
Shame on you Memerise! You still have the performance monitor on the features-previev site for pro-members but it stopped working during the november-crash. this is more than a month now and a bad way of luring people, its kind of deception. do you want only our money and don’t care about your image? Get a (new) customer-relationship manager!
Is the performance monitor getting replaced with a better performance monitoring feature? And what kind of new features are we getting to replace this one? Part of my reason for getting pro recently was seeing the performance monitoring feature - it looked like a great motivation tool and a good metric to judge my progress. All there is right now for metrics is basically how much time I’ve spent, which doesn’t tell me how well I’m doing.
If they wanted to make space, I wish they had chosen to remove “Learning insights: times a day when you learn best” instead. It’s almost useless whereas the performance monitor graph was very monivating. I used to look at it several times a day
When can we expect the new and exciting features that the performance monitor was removed to make way for?
Still over a month and no graph?
The Performance monitor graph was my main motivator. What are they doing in Memrise HQ?
I totally agree with @nestled: if you needed room in that screen for some new feature, you could have gotten rid of the “Learning insights: times a day…” panel, which most times doesn’t provide any useful information: if I learn better at a given time of the day than at any other times, that’s because that’s the time of the day when I find more often the time to use memrise. On the other hand, the performance monitor did provide useful information and was really motivating.
To top it off, you “made room” months before even needing it, because no new features are there anyway.
Apologizing is just a minimum. Rectifying is what this really calls for.
I was working intently on running up the performance monitor graph, and it was vital for tracking my progress. What new features are there to replace it, and why did you need more room for them on a multi-page website? It’s been nearly four months now.
The daily progress graph is next to useless because it’s off by a whole day (plus some number of hours based on your local time zone). The “time spent” chart only shows me time for my top five courses, and the “learning insights” chart only shows me a cursory overview of events from every course. There’s no way to break it down.
The performance monitor was by far the most useful statistic I had, and the only one that really let me break down the data on a course by course basis. Without that, I may not renew my subscription next month.
What are you guys replacing it with? Is there an API that I can use to access the performance data off-site?
After few months we still do not have Performance Monitor
