Hey fellow Memrise users,
i was wondering if there is an option to save a course for a later date or if there isn’t, if it would be something that others would like to see as an option?
cheers guys
Hey fellow Memrise users,

What do you mean by saving for later?
If you click on Start learning and then quit the lesson, the course gets added to the list of courses you’re learning and you can return to it any time. Does that help?
@widle yeah similar to that but if it were to get saved in a different place, like to the Watch Later section on YouTube
I work with the “groups” feature to accomplish something similar. One of my groups is for courses with a daily goal, one group is for finished courses I still want to review and one group is for courses I might want to do sometime. But the latter will of course still be shown on your main page as well.
I do it too with the green “Start learning” button to create my own course list (for later).
Please note: Not all courses contain that button.
Sometimes you just have to press the smaller “Learn” button, included besides the “Review” button.
I guess that works too, to get that course added, but you may have to get prompted those 1-2 words (has seen count, if there is any) or maybe you need at least score some points for those 2 words or add one word to the ignore list.
I am 100% sure, which action 100% let’s you add a course without the big global “Start learning” button to that course list and which action may not realiably save the course later to your course list.
Maybe other more experienced Memrise power users or someone from Memrise staff directly could comment on the latter cases?
Thanks
Thomas
I have an Excel spreadsheet that lists courses I might be interested in starting later. It also includes courses that I completed, and then quit in order to reduce the number of courses on my dashboard…
So yeah, other that clicking Learn or Start Learning, which adds the course to your dashboard, I don’t believe there is any built-in “save for later” option.
Great idea, thanks!
Also, if you set a goal for the courses you want to study you can filter them by this feature.
