I went through beginnings of 3 first levels. And it seems that the one where you are supposed to answer with characters is a multiple choice. The other two types have typing test enabled.
that is very strange… because around 15.00 my time i’ve typed in the first level…
There is a possiblity that the owner of the course changed it.
I have just tried and successfully planted 3 words in the first level without being asked to type, whereas in second and third level I had to type.

I have the same issue. I created a french course with 2 levels about cooking. I selected “ask for writing” for these two levels and it actually works fine. BUT, after I created another french course about household chores with and I selected “ask for writing” too and for this course, no way, there is no questions about writing, only multiple choice.
What should I do to fix it ? I uninstalled the app on my smartphone, erased the cache, duplicate the level and erase the former one but no change. Should I erase the entire course on household chore and remake it all (even if it took a lot of time) ?
To precise, writing questions don’t work on app and on desktop for this course only.
