Offline mode trainings don't store any progress

Hello there! If I have had any offline training, I have to learn those words again from the very beginning when starting web application. So offline trainings don’t transfer your progress to server when a connection to the Internet is available. Also I wonder if offline trainings are to be counted for a streak count.

That’s so strange.

This morning I reviewed a fair amount of words and also learned a few on the train. All the progress synced up and are shown correctly on the website and on my iPhone 5s.

After completing a session while offline, when you connect back to the internet could you try doing one of the following:

  • Pull down to refresh the application
  • Click the leaderboard tab (So you can see if your points has increase and if other users are shown on your leaderboard. This is an indication that you are sync’d correctly to the server.

And if this doesn’t work, could reinstall the application. Just incase there is a problem with your app or your account.

Thanks

Yes it works after pulling down, thanks for the advice!
But there is one more thing, how can I see the daily progress? It shows the week calendar with goals after learning new words, but then, after repeating words (or a Difficult words training, or whatever) to gain some extra points for finishing the daily goal calendar doesn’t appear and I have no idea how to call it to check if the goal is finished. I wonder if the goals on web (1500pts) and ios versions (5 words) are different.

Learning 5 words is equivalent to earning roughly 1500 points.

You can view your daily goal progress on the dashboard.

Look at the top right of your dashboard and you should see a rocket with a counter.

Every time you earn points you should see a yellow progress bar going around the circle.

When you’ve complete your daily goal, the rocket icon will turn yellow and the counter will increase by 1.

If you want to edit your daily goal, just tap on the rocket and you’ll be given some choices. Just select the one you feel most comfortable with.

Hi Joshua, thank you, yes it now works, too, though once I met an occasion, when a rocket was in full yellow circle but the web version showed me that daily goal is still not completed. Maybe it was a problem of synchronisation, but I tested again this morning and it was ok.
What does the numbers mean under that yellow circle? Sometimes there is 29 or so.

Yeah, might had just been a sync issue.

The number beneath the rocket is your daily goal counter. Each day you complete your daily goal, it increase by 1.

If you fail to complete your daily goal for the day, it will return to 0.
