Nuts 幹果?

應該是堅果
像是「he’s allergic to nuts 他對堅果過敏」這邊就是對的
但是單詞「nuts 幹果」這邊錯了

@Milamy: how do you work out what courses this person is doing?

He is doing the course 2 of American English for Chinese (traditional) speakers. I do not understand Chinese, but I managed to find out that the phrase “he’s allergic to nuts” appears at level 17.

The course is:

Can you explain how you found that out? So we can share this job  There are so many posts which land in the silliest of places and I would like to help move them to places where they might actually be seen by the right person on the memrise team, in this case.

First I looked up his list of learning: https://www.memrise.com/user/zero_lin/courses/learning/
For someone else, change the username of the link above.

I’m studying Japanese, so it’s easy to know if it’s Japanese or not. But for another person, to know that the course is Chinese, note that there are only kanji’s (symbols), and it does not have katakana or hiragana (syllabic writing).

Now, to know where the phrase “he’s allergic to nuts” appears, I remembered that a person asked this a few months ago. And when I did the research, it appeared that it was course 2. Official courses follow a pattern, and many phrases repeat themselves in different courses.

But the level number can change between different types of languages, so I had to do a manual search.

Thanks so much! Now I can try to do the same. Do you also have “Regular” status? Or shall I move this post?

I have regular status, but I’m also learning how this works. If you want to try to change, please change

Milamy you are right.
It’s course 2 of American English for Chinese (traditional) and level 17.

I am sorry about my poor English.
When I wanted to report this problem.
I was led to this all-English and confused place.
Obviously, I’m not describing this problem clearly.
