Numerous Correct Translations & Phrases Take Too Long to Type

I’m finding questions that involve complete sentences frustrating.
They are frustrating because for me, they take too long to type (I am barley able to type it within the time limit),
and… I’ve studied Korean, and there are numerous translations for these phrases.
Weather or not someone decides to use 당시는 or 너는, or another word that has the exact same meaning. That’s a bad example.

I wish that in the settings I had the option to turn off typed solutions, and convert these long phrases into touch type solutions. Why?

Because I need to learn roughly 25,000 Korean vocabulary, and a rate like this, where I’m forced to type in Hangul (all of the time)… it will take 9.6 years.

The students learning method should not be the course creators choice. I personally need faster through put. I enjoy being able to type Hangul, because it is increasing my ability to type - but I am not planning on writing a book in Hangul. What is important is vocabulary, and throughput. I need to learn vocabulary quickly… I do not need to learn how to write in Hangul quickly (they are two different things).

I hope that makes sense. I have a personal way of learning. I want the option in the settings to turn off typed solutions for 30 minutes (for example). This way… I can mix things up, and increase the learning rate.

One more thing… If I have forgotten to change my keyboard dictionary back to Hangul… it would be nice if the timer recognized the foreign entry, and didn’t start until the first Hangul character was entered. It would eliminate the need for the pause button.

Though by writing you are creating “stronger connections” and will be able to better remember words for the future.
Also after a little practice, writing in Hangul should go pretty smoothly. Learning through “romanization” should be avoided at all costs. You will learn much less and much slower by typing roman characters. 한글 is made for Korean, and the way it is transliterated is rather misleading.

A. 1. you can install one of the user scrips, there must be one for no typing somewhere. 2 Or can use the “listening skills” for sentences courses. 3 Or use the app. (thanks goodness the leaderboard more or less vanished…)

B. I dare to disagree, the review method should be the privilege of the course creator - creators work a lot for free (and do not enjoy too many privileges in here). There is still the option of creating your own course, if you wish so. Also, I learn myself Asian languages 1. i’m ok with typing sentences .2 memrise can help you with cramming vocab, but not much else… you’ll never get truly fluent just by memrise
