I have created an own latin/german course, and everything works…on the web. But when i use the app version of Memrise (Android) there will be only 29 levels shown, but i have created at least 34 levels.
Does anybody no why this is happening and how i have to fix this?
Oh I thought I was alone on this. My courses also seem to be frozen both on my iphone and ipad app. The word count updates perfectly but no matter what I do (add new words, add new levels, etc.) does not seem to have any visible effect. I still can review my old words and that does seem to sync with the web version of the site, but my new words still don’t show up. Log out doesn’t help.
Really hope to find a decent explanation to this.
Have you tried reinstalling. Once it solved a problem for me
Reinstalled it on my phone, but it doesn’t seem to solve the problem.
I have different versions of the app on my devices and everything worked fine before today.
The word count updates for me too. But the levels don’t.
I try something, i will post a solution if i find one.
I can confirm that app does not update course data. Signing in and out won’t work. I even completely cleaned my device from memrise and restarted phone and reinstalled the app. Nothing seems to work. Via browser everything looks ok, but app does not show added levels and corrected entries.
Lets hope they find the bug and fix it soon
In the future they will fix this. Because this is a big problem for larger
courses.
Not only for large courses. Shows 27/110 but you can’t learn any new words
because levels aren’t showing themselves
Same problem with me. I’ve just noticed today (not sure if it has been happening for a few days before).
I’ve got a completed course with the total of 15 levels. But it gives the option of learning new words, the number on the top is 389/395.
It seems it stopped updating while on level 15 (the last one). In the android app it only shows 6 words for level 15. In the website the total of words for level 15 is 12 words.
I hope it gets fixed soon. The real problem here is that if it doesn’t update the new words/levels, you can’t learn them or review what isn’t there (at least using the android app).
It’s a recent problem because I’ve been working on my personalised course for the last 2 weeks and every thing seemed fine. After a break from Memrise I’ve been actually surprised with how good the app and the web version sync. The course update which I did yesterday is on the device, but the changes I’ve done today do not load at all which is a bit frustrating, because I really like to review with the app rather than the web version.
Someone (who knows how) could put this thread under Android bugs, please
I tried to delete a course from app and do it only via browser. It was a bad idea, because now app went totally crazy.

If you still have words to learn or review, don’t try this.
Same for me and my course unfortunately. I tested a lot already. Without success. If someone finds a solution I would be happy 
The app is revolting agaist us, guys! 
It is so unexpected. I actually now have no desire whatsoever to keep working on my course here as I can neither see nor work with my words on the go.
And still no information from any memrise rep. 
On your Android device, do you have it set to Offline Mode? What I had to do on mine was turn off Offline Mode, then close the Memrise app and reopen it. At that point the new levels I had created appeared and then I re-enabled Offline Mode.
If this post was for me, I don’t use offline mode at home. I have WiFi. Loging out removes all offline courses. I had to do that a lot, so I gave up downloading courses. I even reinstalled app couple of times
for now I can say that everything on app works perfectly and all the bugs are fixed
For that I’m really happy =)
