"noobu" exists

Romaji is the approximation of Japanese letters in a regular english keyboard. So you could just type how it comes out in English if it’ll accept the Romaji (for example: Hai (for はい (yes in English))). Do you mean the Hiragana/Kanji?

For typing out the hiragana/kanji, I’ve been using:
http://www.lexilogos.com/keyboard/hiragana.htm
and the drawing tool in:
http://jisho.org/ (while I fully admit I’m terrible at drawing kanji; I still have to think this thing is terrible at recognizing them too)

It’s clunky AF though, and inputting them and writing out kanji and copying them over is almost impossible in the time limit :expressionless: I’m sure there’s a better way to emulate a Japanese keyboard on an english one, but I kind of settled on this for now since there didn’t seem to be an easy way to do so.

FYI Noob is an derogative english/internet/gaming term for beginner/person that doesn’t know what they’re doing. A shortening of newbie. I don’t think he was actually asking about that word in particular.
