New words not growing more than 1 on mobile

So I got on the app this morning, and I go to do a new lesson per usual on a community created course. But whenever I do a level, the flower for the words only grows by one throughout the whole lesson, it takes like 6 lessons with the same words to get them to full growth when it should normally only take 2.

I tried logging out, deleting and redownloading the app, neither did anything, I changed how many words im learning per lesson and that changed nothing.

Running iPhone 6s on OS 14.0.1, Memrise app version 3.2.10.

Thanks for reaching out. We are aware of this issue (please see Extremely slow progression in learning words), and have worked on a fix for this which will come with the next iOS release. Please keep an eye out for updates in the app store.
