New vocab words being cut off on iPad

Here is an example. This is a new vocab word on the iPad. As you can see, the new word is almost completely cut off. On some of the others, it is completely cut off.

Broken on my ipad too. I‘m sorry it is happening to you but I am glad I am not the only one. I am also sorry I just blindly accepted the upgrade. I won‘t in the future.

It isn’t the best workaround, but I noticed if study in portrait mode it seems to work fine. Maybe it is an option until the bug is worked out.

New vocabs word field should autowrap. Also the font is far too small for non-Roman languages.

I suspect the programmer was rushed for time, tested it for phone but not for pads.

I also sent in a bug report and they recommended deleting the app and reinstalling it. I know this is not an ideal fix, but I did it and it works fine now (in both portrait and landscape.) Just an fyi to all.

Not exactly as pressing as the iPad issue but it’s not exactly optimised for iPhone 8 either. Why make me scroll when there’s all that blue space up there. And I’m all for making the speaker button a bit bigger but this is a bit silly and much preferred the white background too.

This is a good example where most of the screen is taken up by a speaker icon and blue background while the important thing for a learner has to fight for space in the last 20% of the screen…
